Str8te Boys

If you are at YouTube, search for "Paul & Frank", a hilarious video by the B-Squad. I dare you to watch that video and then read Evangeline Anderson's Str8te Boys with a straight face.

Daniel "Duke" Warren and Maverick "Mav" Holms are two college jocks who are best friends that live and smoke weed together. Of course, all the testosterone combined may scare away little girls unused to reading about guys with body hair and what not, so the author puts in a gay roommate as a balm to all that icky stuff. The gay roommate also makes disparaging remarks about icky heterosexual porn, his presence being the clear sign that some romantic sodomy is going to take place soon enough. After all, two hot guys who are good friends with a gay man must be secretly gay themselves and that is so hot.

Ethan, the gay guy who doesn't get a shot at the jocks because he's not straight acting enough, gets those two guys to play "gay chicken", a game where you snuggle up to another straight guy without kissing. Yeah, yeah, Paul and Frank are not gay, and neither are Mav and Duke, and you know what, even if they are, everyone liberal and good is A-OK with it so hurray for jocks rogering each other for our pleasure in the name of equality and freedom for all and sundry.

I'm at a loss here when it comes to this baby because, as amusing as I find it at times, I still think I've seen better takes on this "jocks gone gay" thing before. I do remember seeing some adorable naughty films starring Chad Savage with similar situations. And he always did have really adorable bubble-shaped behind framed by the lovely white strips of his jockstraps... ahem.
